Mission
Stories of Sindh is a living archive documenting the migration accounts of Sindhi people and the rich cultural heritage of the Sindh region. As a result of the 1947 Partition, countless families lost their homes, their records, and — too often — their stories. This archive exists so those stories are not the next thing to be lost.
Vision
A public, non-political, educational space where Sindhis from every background and every corner of the world can come together to preserve, read, and pass down their family histories. We believe every account — however small — is a thread in a civilisation that must not be broken.
The Founder
Stories of Sindh was founded by Payal Sadhwani, driven by a conviction that oral histories are a form of inheritance. The archive is a humble, personal project: it does not claim impartial statesmanship, only careful listening and faithful recording.
